Purpose: Lead and mentor HR Advisers, Assistants, and Trainees. Support managers in achieving people management outcomes, manage casework, and drive organizational change.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide expert HR advice on employee relations, disciplinary actions, grievances, and organizational design.
  2. Partner with senior managers to understand service challenges and proactively offer strategic HR solutions.
  3. Supervise and develop the HR advisory team, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
  4. Design and implement HR interventions to build capacity and capability.
  5. Ensure compliance with employment legislation and organizational policies.
  6. Handle complex casework and provide final advice on investigations, disciplinary actions, and performance issues.
  7. Conduct pre-employment checks and manage job evaluations.
  8. Deliver coaching and training sessions for managers to improve people management skills.
  9. Proactively address absenteeism through early intervention and application of procedures.
  10. Stay updated on employment law and best practices.
